Was ist ein Chengyu?
Eine feste Redewendung aus vier Schriftzeichen, meist aus einer klassischen Geschichte: 画蛇添足 „einer Schlange Füße malen“ = etwas durch Übertreiben verderben. Es gibt Zehntausende davon; ein paar Hundert decken den Alltagsgebrauch ab.
Wie viele Chengyu sollte man als Lernender kennen?
Mit etwa 20 bis 50 klingt dein Chinesisch schon deutlich natürlicher; HSK 5–6 erwartet einige Hundert. Fang mit häufigen Chengyu wie 马马虎虎 (so lala) und 乱七八糟 (ein Chaos) an.
