Can TonePerfect help with my English accent?
Yes, for the sounds of English: TonePerfect scores every sound (phoneme) of every word you say against a standard American English reference, names your weakest sound, and over time flags the sounds that stay weak for you as chronically weak.

You can score the sentences you actually need, such as a presentation line, your name or an interview answer, by typing them, or start with the free English pronunciation and accent tests in the browser, with no account.
The app ranks your sounds weakest-first and picks what you practise next, so practice goes to the sounds that cost you the most rather than the ones you already say well.
The guide to sounding more native in English ranks what to work on first, such as vowel length (ship and sheep), TH, R and L, and final consonants, with notes for speakers of different first languages, and says which parts TonePerfect scores and which you check by ear.
What it does not do
- There is no accent setting: the reference is standard American English, and you cannot choose a British or other accent.
- It does not score intonation or sentence stress.
- It does not give an IELTS, TOEFL or CEFR score.
